Offered is larger hardcover titled "The Colophon: The Annual Of Bookmaking 1927-1937: The Colophon 1938 " Copyright 1938 Pynson Printers, Inc. Office of The Colophon, 229 West 43d Street, New York. Unpaginated, but approx. 300 pages. A compilation of various printers and designers work from the past decade: Binding design by W.A. Dwiggins; Title page design by Rockwell Kent; a foreword by J.T. Winterich; Chapters by the American Institute of Graphic Arts (a listing of the Fifty Books of the Year from 1927-1937); various publishers and printing presses (such asWard Ritchie, Yale University, Overbrook Press, Derrydale Press, George Grady Press, Riverside Press, Press of the Wooly Whale, Haddon Craftsmen, Limited Editions Club, Pynson Printers and others, with each section designed and printed by each printing press company.

The book is clean and tight. A little minor spotting to the rear boards. No interior markings, tight binding. Not an Ex-Lib book. As pictured. Thanks for looking.

My payment terms are per Ebay's current rules: Which allow me to offer PayPal Only. The only exceptions are if, you the buyer ask me to accept a different method, which I can't mention. Kinda like a don't ask don't tell approach. I don't make these rules ! Since more than 90% of all payments are now made electronically, I allow 7 days for payment, after which if payment has not been made, I begin the process of getting my selling costs refunded.

Shipping is via the same service as the noted in, and with this ad. Please note that Media Mail service can take up to ten days or more to transverse the country. Fed Ex Ground service is used for anything over a four or five pounds in weight, and for large or irregular sized items, which otherwise do not qualify for USPS Media Mail Items slated for Fed Ex Ground service do require a physical address, and can't be delivered to a post office box. Shipping upgrades are possible upon request from the buyer, otherwise the noted method is used as the default.
