This software package comes on a CDROM which includes versions of Adobe Acrobat Reader and Microsoft WORD for displaying the documentation (manual is included on the CDROM). BMP images files for each page of the manual are also included. This is a full (not just a demo) MSDOS product (will run in an MSDOS window with Windows 3.1, 95, 98, 2000, XP, Vista). Will not work on dual core Vista machines without 16-bit support.

RESAMPLING STATS - MONTE CARLO ANALYSIS.

MONTE CARLO enables you to solve both simple and complex problems in probability and statistics. It is applicable to teaching and demonstrating statistical procedures in educational settings ranging from Junior High through Graduate School. It is also applicable to business and scientific use.

MONTE CARLO uses a simple language which mimics the steps involved in many statistical experiments. For example, "shuffle" randomizes a set of elements; "take" takes one or more elements from a set based on user-defined rules; and so on. In this manner, statistical problems which have very complicated mathematical formulations (or even no closed-form solutions) can be reduced to sample intuitive operations, with the underlying principles clearly presented.

Not only is the software easy to use, but the 60-page manual (on disk) takes a very tutorial approach to describing the program operation and statistical concepts. Examples abound.
