GORDON JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL 1941 CLASS PICTURE Washington

Up for auction is a class photo picture from the Gordon Junior High School – class of 1941. This picture is clear and a good product.  In some of the scans provided of the picture,  it looks as though there are light areas near the edge of the picture and there aren’t.  The picture is so long, it’s hard to get a really good picture of it.  The picture is much better than the scans.  The picture is actually very clear.  I scanned it in sections and the parts of the picture near the edge of the scanning area appear light.  The measurements of this picture are 10” x 32 ½”.  There are about 200 to 250 young people in the picture and an elderly gentleman on the right-hand side of the picture.  There are a couple of tears about ½ to 1 inch long on the edges of this picture.  But the picture is clear and the young people’s faces are very clear and are beautiful.  I did some research trying to find out where the Gordon Junior High School is (or was) located.  I never found out for sure; I thought it was quite possibly in North Carolina or Nebraska, but I've received emails telling me it looks like other class pictures taken at aGORDON JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL in WASHINGTON D.C.
