Roseville Pottery Super Jardiniere Lg Futura 616-6 Tan

• This is a super example of the Futura Jardiniere Circa 1928, yes 1928! It is hard to believe this design could have been conceived then. It is futuristic to say the least. The lines are Art Deco. The shape is a bit rocket ship. The decoration is of idealistic flower petals of yellow lavender and there are green leaves. Then there are the blue arrows. Underneath runs vertical line grouped in 3's. It is fascinating. There is a collar of greenish-gold color around the top .
  
• It is the 6 inch model. Six inches high , six inch opening and about 8 3/4 handle to handle and total of 9 inches wide at the widest point. It is a good size jard in terrific shape.
  
• Condition: Minor Crazing for its age. It is very remarkable. There is a very tight thin, hard to see, line running horizontally, that you can see in the picture of the inside of the jardiniere. And then one running vertically...I don't think these are hairlines . They are lighter than pencil marks.
  
• There is one professionally repaired chip to the rim on the bottom - you can see where it was if look at the final photo. Other than that, it is in stellar condition for its age. Just look at the pictures. It is in absolutely wonderful condition.
