VIET ROCK by Megan Terry (1967) FOUR RARE PLAY SCRIPTS

This is an anthology collection of four off-off-Broadway play scripts. This was printed in the USA for Simon and Schuster. This is a first edition printing from 1967 with a printed cover price of $2.95 in the USA. There are 282 pages. This copy has been boxed away in storage for decades.

This book contains four complete scripts with detailed production notes for each show. These shows were at least partially created by the original casts as group improvs with music by Marianne de Pury. The sheet music included is for piano accompaniment. It does not list the chord names.

Keep Tightly Closed in a Cool Dry Place - three men in a prison cell - which can be directed literally, or as a fantasy. The director must first decide if a murder has been committed; he must first decide what matters, and then impart that to the audience. This is a one-act play. CONDITION:

COVER - There is mild surface wear around the edges.

SPINE - There is no real crease (almost, but not quite). The spine is still very tight. Every page is secure.

PAGES - There is very mild yellowing around the edges. The pages are otherwise clean. Some of the page corners have rounded.

These scripts were never used for actual stagings. This book was read once or twice only. This has been in storage for decades. Despite the age, there is very little yellowing. This is in very good condition. This book has been out-of-print for quite a while now. It will make a great addition to any collection.
