 See 2 directional buttons on the right hand side ?    They are used for advancing the hours, minutes, seconds, days, etc. when setting the clock. In the normal clock display, they advance the month display forward or backward, so you can scroll ahead to see what day your birthday falls on, for example.

But if you hold these buttons for 2 seconds, they become "intelligence keys," capable of scrolling forwards or backwards at the mind-numbing speed of 16 months per second !

Don't take my word for it. You see the monthly calendars whiz through their configurations as fast as your brain can comprehend.

In less than a minute you can scroll back to the month and year your father was born - to see what day of the week he was born on.

I have no idea why you would need this information.

Likewise, you can scroll back to the day in 1963 when JFK was shot, then use your World Clock to pinpont exactly what time it was in Sydney, Australia, when the president was assassinated.

Again, I have no idea why you would need this information.

It can scroll back to January 1900 at the speed of light, and forward to the year 2099.
