Beautiful Antique Ornate Leather Italian Book Cover

Iam not sure of the age of this great cover, but it looks quite old.
It is expertly embossed and colored on brown leather. The detail is extraordinary! It is marked "Made in Italy" on the long bookmarker.
It could use a cleaning. The condition looks very good for its age! Measures (closed) approx. 6.5" by 8.5"
