Glamorous VINTAGE Long NIGHTGOWN-RUFFLES+CHIFFON-Sm!!
This is such an Exquisite Vintage Nightgown!! It is done in floor length, VINTAGE BLUE NYLON, WITH CHIFFON OVERLAY ON THE GATHERED BUSTLINE, CHIFFON STRAPS AND NECKLINE SECTION OF THE BODICE, DECORATED WITH 4 SWEET LACE RUFFLES & 3 SHIMMERING GLASS BUTTONS! The bustline is the real star of this gown and with the ruffled trim, gathered chiffon and wide panel waistline, it is no wonder! There are two, rolled belt loops on the gown, but no belt was included. I've simply used a vintage satin ribbon and it adds just the right touch! I won't be including mine, but you can pick up any color you desire at the fabric store near you. The buttons feel like glass and when you look on the back, there is a gold background surface that reflects more like silver in front. They look like rhinestones on the front side and are a stunning addition!
The gown is in EXCELLENT CONDITION with only the chiffon "picks" one sees on these old garments. These are not really seen at all, when the nightgown is worn and there are NO areas of damage that I found when inspecting the piece. It will make a fabulous addition to your displays, collection or lingerie wardrobe and you will be thrilled when it arrives!
The inner tag shows this as a SIZE 32, or SMALL, by today's sizing charts. It was made by "ADONNA" for "Penney's".
