"Daka-Ware" Hard Plastic Ash Tray - measures 7" in diameter x 1 1/4" in height (at highest) - Advertising at top of inner circle (cigarette half slots 3/4ths the way around) in original gold letters (some wear) Solomon Casket Co., Providence, R.I.  DE 4252  Piece probably from the 1940's - Bottom of ash tray, shiny plastic, has half-dollar size company icon in center - around very detailed, raised horses head, "The Winner", the following:  at top edge, Harry Davies Molding Co. - at left edge, Made in USA - at right edge, Chicago, Ill. - at bottom edge, DAKA-WARE - Below icon, Patent Pending.  Condition: On bottom of ashtray center circle, several small, bubbly bumps from hot ashes (can be seen in accompanying photo) - to right of match book holder, small area, the size of a quarter, has slight roughness (looks a little dull) - Otherwise piece has no breaks, chips or cracks.
