Shipping costs are through the roof, and we know that you hate paying through the nose for shipping.  So we've done our best to minimize shipping costs.   We get a reduced rate for online shipping, and pass that savings on to you.  We're also offering a Flat Rate box option, which can be much cheaper if the package is heavy and you live some distance away.

We ship within one business day (after being paid, of course).  We don't ship out on week-ends or holidays, as our children and dogs would never see us if we worked week-ends as well. But if you desperately need it sent on a Saturday, let us know, and we'll do our best to accomodate you. If we can't ship out on schedule, we'll contact you and let you know. 

We ship via USPS Priority mail within the contiguous United States, and USPS Priority and Express mail for international shipments.  You'll receive a confirmation number from usps.com upon shipment of your packages.  If you don't receive an email containing a confirmation number, let us know. 

We are not responsible for packages once they have been shipped. Insurance is suggested but not required, except for international shipments.

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS MUST PROVIDE THEIR TELEPHONE NUMBERS to enable us to fill out customs forms on-line.   We will not indicate a lesser value, or label an item a gift, when filling out customs  forms, as this is illegal.  Please - don't even ask .

The practice of charging a shipping and handling fee is universal among Ebay sellers, although most sellers build it into their shipping costs and don't reveal the exact amount.

We think you are entitled to know exactly what you're paying for.  And  exactly what you're getting.

So we’ve decided to charge NO S/H fee - just the postage charged by the USPS, based on the exact weight of the package.  We think that the expenses of doing business on Ebay - gas for trips to the post office, packing supplies, etc. – are just that.  Part of the cost of doing business.  And we don’t think you should be asked to pay for that, on top of paying a fair price for our products.

Before shipping, we wrap each item beautifully and securely with tissue paper and ship in brand new boxes.

And we'll NEVER charge you a penny more than the post office charges us to ship your package.

Because each item varies so much in weight - which is what determines shipping costs - your savings will vary, depending on the combined weight of the items. Nearly everything we sell is vintage and/or used, so it isn't generally going to be perfect.   Interesting, yes. Perfect, no.
