This VINTAGE THANKSGIVING CORSAGE is entitled "THE HARVEST'S BOUNTY" and features: 2 LARGE, SPUN COTTON VINTAGE PILGRIM HEADS(The boy having a thick cardboard, notched collar & wide brimmed, paper mache hat & the girl, a circular collar & crepe+paperboard hat), A FEATHERED VINTAGE PHEASANT, A MERCURY GLASS BEADED CHENILLE TREE, A GOLD FOIL "SUNFLOWER" WITH MERCURY GLASS STAMENS, YELLOW MERCURY GLASS COVERED SATIN FLOWERS WITH GOLD GLITTERED EDGES, OODLES OF VELVET "FORGET-ME-NOT"MILLINERY FLOWERS, RED SUEDE LEAF, SEVERAL"BUMPY" YELLOW/ORANGE FRUIT PICS, ORANGE SPARKLY FRUIT PICS, GOLDEN PINECONES, 2 FABULOUS ORANGE & YELLOW GLASS LEAVES ON STEMS AND A BEAUTIFUL VINTAGE JEWELRY PIECE WITH A PRONG SET, LARGE SPARKLING GREEN RHINESTONE SURROUNDED BY 3, MATTE GREEN STONES...ALL ON GORGEOUS, VELVETY ORANGE/YELLOW/BROWN LEAVES...AND..ALL VINTAGE !! To top it off, a large, gleaming Copper & Silver colored Vintage Ribbon Bow rests at the area between the decorative area and the stem.
This Vintage ONE-OF-A-KIND, HANDCRAFTED corsage would make the perfect Thanksgiving Hostess Gift...a special Christmas Tree Ornament, Gift, or simply to wear as intended. It will come with a Vintage Corsage Pin and, like all of my Art pieces, is signed and dated on the back. This piece MEASURES 6" x 4" and is very full, without being "over done". The scene depicts a Pilgrim boy and girl preparing for their Feast...the boy has his arms full of flowers for the table and the girl carries colorful leaves, fruits and pinecones. Their main course (pheasant) rests beneath the end of the season's "sunflowers" and colored "trees"(satin & mercury Glass flower stems), while the orange chenille tree is bedecked in glass garlands to welcome the Christmas Season!

beautiful Art Piece was created using Vintage Materials. It is one of my line of Hand-Made, One-of-a-kind,
Collectible Art pieces, meant to give Vintage cast-offs New Life. I
call this line "HEIRLOOMS REBORN" and will be bringing you more of the
same, plus Vintage Garlands, Wreaths, All Form of Holiday Decorating
pieces and Jewelry! These are made by
re-fashioning the wonderful and whimsical pieces I have collected for
many years, into new items that will bring back the wonder and Loving
Memories of your childhood holidays. My goal is to re-capture those
feelings we all had, when lying in bed, unable to sleep, because
Christmas, Easter, Halloween or some other occasion was almost here!
*My corsages are double boxed after first being paper, then bubble, wrapped. This insures that they arrive in the same shape I mail them to you in. This makes the weight a bit heavier than if I were to be less cautious in packaging, but I feel you would rather pay a few cents more, than to have your Original heirloom piece damaged in shipment. *PLEASE REQUEST INSURANCE TO PROTECT YOUR HEIRLOOM, PRIOR TO MAKING PAYMENT, AS IT IS NO LONGER A CHOICE ON THE INVOICE.
