The present item is finest handmade work of Lokay people. The Lokay people really were masters of an embroidery. Nomadic culture had a really great influence to Uzbek Applied Art. The Nomadic people brought a lot of interesting paraphernalia, like small bags Yurt tent bands, pendants, and a lot of other handmade things for decoration of Yurts and things for daily use. Whereas other decorated objects had real functions and a specific place in the household, these embroideries beautiful bags were produced as art. This perfect small bag express the character, creativity and accumulated knowledge and skill of craftsman, and the pride of  Lakay tribe. This decorative bag of very fine skill and quality is fully handmade silk embroidery. It was embroidered on dark red velvet fabric. The patterns of embroidery displays traditional Lokay motifs. The beauty of the bag is completed by multicolored handmade tassels. This bag is lined with printed cotton fabric. The size 19 x 9 inches (with handle) or 48 x 22 cm. Condition is excellent.

This handmade silk embroidery Lakay bag is gorgeous sample of Uzbek Applied Art. It is fabulous decoration for your interior and just pretty item to have.
