This is one of my all time Favorite Finds in a dress!! Made by "CAROL ANDERSON, CALIFORNIA", it blends Large deep Pink Hibiscus with Huge Pink & Blue Lilacs together with dual shades of green Leaves & foliage for a Magnificent fabric!! Tags show that it is made of 100% Rayon for a crisp, flowing look. The fabric covered belt and buckle fit into 2, very thin belt loops, one on either side and the 3, bodice buttons are a lovely, marbled White & Clear frost. The shoulder area is pleated, at both front and back and is made to be a "loose" fit. The elastic at the waist is fully encased in the dress fabric for a smooth flow and a slit pocket can be found beneath the waistline, on each side.
The skirt is what could be called a "circle" skirt and has a circumference of 110" AROUND THE HEMLINE! The sleeves are short & "Raglan" style, meaning they flow directly into the bodice, beneath the bust, almost to the waist area, of the dress. This is a gorgeous Garment!!
I would date this to the 1980's, but it is SO reminiscent of the late 1940's with it's wide shoulder look, "swing" or "circle" style skirt and covered belt at the waist. Being a "midi"or MID-CALF length, it elongates the leg, especially when worn with heels. I can remember wearing this style of dress with my very best Ankle strap shoes in the late 70's, so it could date that far back as well.

TOTAL LENGTH: 44" From Shoulder to bottom of Hemline
