…… Calling this antique handmade ship model, a Chinese Junk, seems to diminish the high quality and craftsmanship of its construction. If it was not made in the 19th century, then it was certainly made very close to the 19th century. From stem to stern, this model measures 27” and it is 9 ½” wide at the middle. The hull is approximately 7” tall and the overall height to the top of the mast is 28”. As you can see, the ship model needs some restoration. The sail cloth has all but deteriorated away, and most of the rigging lines have broken. The hull of this ship is in perfect condition and the very large majority of the deck is complete and perfect including the two iron anchors. I will be able to lower the mast so shipping will not be a great problem abd there are details down below about a possible free delivery.
