Fabulous & Sensual, VINTAGE NAVY BLUE FULL SLIP WITH GORGEOUS, "CRYSTAL" PLEATED BODICE AND 5" PLEATED HEMLINE!! This stunning, Vintage Piece no longer has it's maker's tags, but I would guess it to have been made by one of our favorite companies..."VAN RAALTE". I, of course, cannot guarantee this, but from my years of experience with vintage lingerie, it is a fair guess I believe. This is in a rarer color and with the amazing scalloped and Embroidered Chiffon trim and bodice and hemline of sheer and lovely, CHIFFON CRYSTAL PLEATS, it certainly is worthy of adding to any collection.
The measurements show it to be a SIZE SMALL and it is in GOOD, but not perfect, CONDITION. There is slight wear in the form of some small areas of fraying at the trim along the bodice, in front, as shown, and at the side seam. Also, there is a small section where the ribbon strap needs some stitches. This is a second seam and while not imperative, should be re-sewn. Also, there is a very small hole at the backside, beneath the waist seam and 3 small, worn area marks, near the front hemline trim. All of these have been photographed for your informative use and all are small, yet there.
This truly is a stunning piece, with great detailing and a romantic flair. It would be gorgeous worn beneath a suit, with the top of the slip acting as a camisole! Whatever your use..... display, collection, or wear...you will NOT be disappointed with this classic beauty arrives at your door.
