BEAUTIFUL UZBEK HAND EMBROIDERY OVER DOOR DECORATION

Since ancient times Uzbek embroidery has played a main role in culture and developing of people of this land. Each piece of embroidery even small pieces had their own required destination like Uzbek colourful celebrations and traditional weddings.Every Uzbek woman made an embroidery, embroidery was solely the craft of women. Each piece of Silk handmade embroidery is a real masterpiece, which has been made with heart and love.

This perfect sample of Uzbek handmade silk embroidery is a decoration for entrance of door. It was embroidered with silk threads in chain stitch technique. There are  unusual multicoloured tassels with attached beads which especially making up an asian beauty. Size: 46 x 11 inches. It was done in Surhandarya the south region of Uzbekistan about 30 - 35 years ago. Condition is good.

Add this amazing small sample of  Uzbek culture and tradition fully handmade decoration for the door, to your textile collection, it will give an unusual Asian atmosphere to your interior.
