Condition: New  

Precision Hardened Tool Steel Mandrel.  Used to glue up and assemble grips using cork rings, for finishing prior to installation on your rod blank.  The mandrel is coated with paraffin wax (not included) prior to installing rings, gluing and clamping to facilitate easy grip removal from the mandrel after shaping the grip.  Mandrel ends are counter bored at 60 degrees to allow tailstock support with your lathes live center.  Also works with the new 60 degree tailstock for Pac Bay (and similar) wrapping machines.
