Made (and marked) by the esteemed Dodge casting firm here in the USA ca 1950, this is a very large miniature metal replica of the HOOVER DAM in Arizona. This piece is in superb conditon. Reads BOULDER DAM across the front. Note that Boulder Dam and Hoover Dam are the same structure--- the first earlier name referring to President Herbert Hoover. This great looking piece is 3.5" tall on a 4 by 3.25" base and in nearly mint condition with a superb bright copper wash finish all over. The side walls are decorated with embossed high tension power lines repesenting the electric power to be produced out of this dam facility. A pretty tough piece to find in any size or condition, this big one is the toughest to come by. Truly a superb example as well.
