COOL ALTERNATIVE POPEYE and GANG ART COVER !

 SCARCE #1 ORIGIN ISSUE PUBLISHED IN SUMMER 1987 by OCEAN COMICS !!

This historic #1 is dated Summer 1987.  FEATURES UNUSUAL POPEYE ART by a variety of artist.  Very cool lower print issue.

  A different yarn by E.C. SEGAR's sea farring Spinach eating SAILOR MAN !!

SAILOR STORY; Brutus, Wimpy, PoopDeck and Popeye in their Navy days...

  Great teams on this HARD TO FIND comic.  Very interesting art.

 This comic is in high grade VERY FINE (8.0) condition.  White Pages.  Slight spine and cover wear.  Housed in a comic bag with an acid free board.  This issue may be worthy of CGC.
