PAIR OF WHITE SEWING MACHINE COMPANY CARDS BIRDS HOUSES

Offered for your bidding pleasure is this pair of vintage advertising trade cards for The White Sewing Machine Company.  These cards were recently acquired at an Estate Sale in Upstate New York.  Pictured on the front of one is a large grayish building.  It looks like an old Church or house, or Abbey.  Toward the lower left corner are the initials RTK.  At the top of the card are two birds.  One looks like a bluebird.  The birds and the building are lightly embossed.  Pictured on the other card is a street or driveway with someone walking down it.  It looks like there are white geese or chickens in the road too.  The road seems to be leading to a small town or some houese.  At the top of this card are two birds.  They may be chick-a-dees.  The birds and buidings on this card are lightly embossed.  The initials RTK are just at the edge of the green on the right side of this card. The birds at the top extend past the edge of the card.  There is not any print on the front of these cards.  I have included a picture of the backs.  Printed there is " Compliments of White Sewing Machne Company, Cleveland, Ohio. "  Both cards have a pinkish tint to the back with lines and a darker spot near the print.  Also the tails on the birds at the top look like they may be damaged.   There is also some corner and edge wear, and light pencil marks on the front of one card.  The cards measure 5 3/8 inches x 3 9/16 inches.  These would make a nice addition to your advertising trade card collection.  The pictures are really neat.  Please e-mail with any questions prior to bidding.  Winning bidder will pay $1.00 additional shipping and handling.  Thank you for shopping my auctions and Happy Bidding.  Watch my auctions for advertising cards and die cuts, I recently purchased a scrapbook full of them.  I am always happy to combine shipping.
