This lot is one of many that come estate fresh from an old Brooklyn, New York home we recently liquidated. It was found packed away in an old file cabinet, most likely undisturbed for decades.
The Christmas card measures approx. 6" by 5" and depicts Roy Crane's comic strip adventure character 'Buz Sawyer' on the outside and in. Full copyright information on back. Overall very nice condition. Never used or written on! There is some light staining from the envelope glue on the back of the card (does not affect inside message whatsoever - see final two images below). There is some faint wear on face at lower right area just above 'Buz Sawyer' gift tag. Vivid original colors!
This lot will make a super addition to any vintage Sunday comics character collection.
