by Terrance Conran.
Published 1974,no other date, This is the coveted British edition published by Mitchell Beazley Publishers LTD in London.
Huge hardcover book,448 pages,10.25x10.5 inches, illustrated boards. Condition is  good, boards are clean and glossy with some edge dents, clear book tape over spine cloth, back cover has rubbing and moderate soil. Pages are clean and tight, small spot inside front cover and mirrored on first blank page.
 
This is a gorgeous and comprehensive  (448 PAGES !!) book with hundreds if not thousands of color photos of the creme de la creme of 70s design.  I think it  the zeitgeist of the 70s era, and shows how the MID CENTURY MODERN of the 50s evolved through the organic vibe of the 60s into the  shagalicious MODERN of the 70s.
 
Designers and artists seen here include PANTON, KARTELL, VAN DER ROHE, COLOMBO, EAMES, SAARINEN, NOGUCHI, LE CORBUSIER, JACOBSON, NELSON, PETER MAX, ANDY WARHOL and lots lots more. Just take a moment to enjoy all the photos below and know that there are hundreds more in this book.
 
Chapters include every room in the house, plus floors, walls, lighting, storage, outdoor rooms. A fabulous glossary at the end, extras like saunas and solariums.   
 
In short, this is a tremendous original resource of ideas and practical plans, with thousands of  invaluable suggestions for turning your home into a 70s Retro Heaven.
