Old Teardrop Christmas Ornament Silvery Glass "US of A"

 VINTAGE GLASS CHRISTMAS ORNAMENT

Imagine your Christmas tree draped in the finest ornaments.  This is your opportunity to make that dream come true.

This ornament is one of many that I will be offering from the estate of my friend's mother.  She loved decorating for the holidays and her tree was always laden with unusual and quality ornaments.

Most of the ornaments were originally purchased from Bronner's a Frankenmuth, Michigan landmark Christmas store.

This particular auction is for a teardrop shaped ornament with silvery looking glass.  It has a unique frosted window pane effect to the silver areas.  It has been hand painted in hot pink and green.  The metal cap states that it was made in the U.S. of A.

The ornament is 6" long X 3 1/4" across.

The glass on this ornament is in very good condition. The only thing that I can comment on is the age-related wear to the paint at the top by the cap.
