This is a Royal Albert Bone China Cup and Saucer in the "American Beauty" Pattern, produced by  Thomas C. Wild & Sons, Ltd. in the Staffordshire Potteries area of England. 

The cup stands 2-3/4" tall and measures 3-1/4" across the top.

The saucer measures 5-1/2" in diameter.

The design shows lovely, large roses in shades of pink with green leaves on the outside of the cup with another rose inside, just below the rim.  The background color is white..  There is a gold band around the rim, two more around the foot and gold accents on the handle which has a thumb rest.

The matching saucer has a gold band around the evenly scalloped edge. 

Other than some very minor, tiny scratches in the center of the saucer caused by a cup over the years and only show when held to a light, there are no chips cracks, scratches, crazing or discolorations in either piece.  The colors are bright and unfaded, the gold is intact, and the glazed finish is nice and shiny.
