Mme. Ernestine Schumann-Heink SongbookHere is a songbook of sheetmusic titled "The Artistic Contralto, A Collection of Standard Ballards and Arias by World Renowed Composers." Mme. Ernestine Schumann-Heink was a very famous singer in the late 1800's - early 1900's. She was born in 1861 in Lieben, near Prague. She was success in London at Covent Garden and New York at the Metropolitan Opera House. The biography in the front that was written in 1914 says she had applied for her naturalization papers and is now a citizen of the United States.

I know some of you are salivating on this find. But wait until you read of the rich volume of songs in this book. Not to mention some of this music is in 3 languages! If you want this, don't hesitate because it will NOT be relisted. Here is a list:

Softcover songbook is in incredible shape for almost 100 years old with wear mostly to the cover. There are 96 pages and wear is mostly to the cover. Creases in the corners as shown in photo which is expected for age. No biggie for such a wonderful find.
