The book contains 680 page.

This volume is a condensation of the two volume Admiral of the Ocean Sea, published  at the same time. All notes have been omitted and a good many pages of navigational data; a chapter on ships and sailing and one on the orgin of syphilis have been summarized. Otherwise the two editions are identical.

There are two pull -out maps in the book.  The first pull-out is a map of the Atlantic Ocean showing the track of Columbus's Flagship, Santa Maria and Nina, 1492 - 1493. This pull-out map measures approximately 20 inches x 9 1/4 inches. The map is in good condition.

The second pull-out Illustrated map is of Southern Cuba, The second voyage of Columbus, May - July 1494. Copyright 1941 by Samuel E. Morison.  The map measures approximately 11 inches x 9 1/4 inches.

The book is in good condition. There is some wear around the edges and corners of the book. There are no loose pages or separation from the binding.
