This listing is for one shelter half.  It is authentic U.S. military surplus. A pup tent is made up of two shelter halves -- we will call them tarps just to keep it simple.  

This listing is for one UNISSUED (new old stock) $12.00 tarp.  Years of use can be expected from this tarp. 

The construction of one tarp includes a rectangular shaped piece in the center with triangular pieces on the ends.  The rectangular shape in the center measures approx 55" x 63".  Each tarp forms half of a two-person tent when two of them are snapped or buttoned together. We have used tarps to cover a variety of things, and when a larger tarp is needed, we just snap two tarps together to form a larger tarp.  There are grommets on both sides and at the ends that can prove to be very handy when you want to tie it down.

 The uses are almost unlimited --- use on anything you want kept dry or shaded from the sun.  They can also be tied tree-to-tree (or to anything else) to make a canopy/lean-to for shelter from sun or rain.  Use over your kennel to shade you doggie, make a hunting blind, build a yurt, cover your air conditioner in the winter, cover your firewood, atv, motorcycle, go-cart or project, use on your boat, make a back-drop for your little league hitter, sew seat covers for your Jeep, or make rain sheets for your ponies.

For you west coast bidders, one tarp will fit in a flat rate priority box for $10.35 - sometimes that is a cheaper rate than parcel post to you.  BEFORE sending payment, just adjust your payment accordingly or ask us to adjust the invoice before sending it to you.  The same priority flat rate may apply to buyers in AK, WA, OR, and the mountain states -- we will adjust the invoice if the flat rate priority is less expensive for you, but this needs to happen BEFORE you send payment.
