Description
Explore four games from the far east with Valusoft's SECRETS OF THE EAST collection for the PC. The set includes Sudoku, Mahjongg, Go, and Kakuro, four challenging puzzle games that will take players minutes to learn by days to master. Sudoku is the popular Japanese number puzzle where players are presented with a few numbers on a grid of nine rows and nine columns. The goal is to fill in the rest of the numbers so that they only appear once in each row, column, and three by three square. It sounds a little confusing, but once players get into it, they quickly learn how to play. Mahjongg requires players to match all of the small tiles and clear off the entire board. The tiles are laid out in many different patterns, some harder than others, and all will challenge players. The game includes over 400 layouts and the ability for players to create their own tile sets. Go is a strategy board game for two players that has gamers trying to claim as much territory on the board as possible by placing squares and capturing the opponent's pieces. SECRETS OF THE EAST includes nine different difficulty levels and three board sizes. Finally, Kakuro provides a twist to the standard Sudoku puzzle by requiring players to make certain rows and columns add up to a specific number. This adds a great level of challenge for Sudoku masters. With four different puzzle games, SECRETS OF THE EAST is a great value.
