This item is a NEW ROSS LONDON™ Reproduction Brass, 18 inch telescope expanded , 7in collapsed, 2 1/8 in. at the outer end . This one is Shiny brass and is what I call a very nice reproduction telescope ( with leather over Sun Shield and telescope body ), since it is compact, good box, excellent power. The outer lens is Approx. 1 3/8 inch .  Excellent viewing at 2 mile, Reproductions are not power rated as they have handmade lens ( it is a handmade reproduction for collectors ), but we have the maker use the best lens available and we are not disappointed as we are told they are more powerful than the originals. If you want super power, buy a new plastic machine made telescope( won't last too long but will have power ), these are for those of us that like the looks of the years gone by heavy solid brass.
