This listing represents a first for me. Here you have a WWII Era Johnson and Johnson Band-Aid tin with bandaids. There are a number of one inch sealed bandaids inside the tin. The tin retains the printed information.

Band-Aid tin is a less than half full. The tin is marked as waterproofed. There is a twenty-five cents Woolworth price tag on the bottom. Johnson and Johnson of New Brunswick, New Jersey and Chicago, Illinois made the band-aids. I do not recommend using the contents, as the band-aids are over sixty-four years old. I am offering the Johnson and Johnson Tin as a WWII Medical Display Item. The container measures 1.125 x 2.375 x 3.5 inches. The winning bidder may opt for First Class Postage with Padded Bag and tracking slip in lieu of the standard Priority Mail option.

This WWII GI Medic or Nurse’s Johnson and Johnson Band-Aids Container with some remaining, sealed band-aids would make a wonderful addition, upgrade or completion to a WWII GI Medic or Nurse’s Medical Collection. It would make a terrific addition for re-enactments, and would look great in a display, museum or for theatrical productions. It would make a poignant gift, too, for someone of the Greatest Generation. Amongst my WWII items this week, I am listing a number of caps, uniform items, field gear, insignia, ribbons, home front items, etc., this week. Please do a seller-search using my Ebay username martinolij to check it out. Thank you.

Please read this section carefully before placing a bid. Payment in US Dollars is due within 7 days of the listing’s conclusion. I accept Pay Pal. Items will ship when the funds in US Dollars clear to my account. Buyer in the States pays US Postal Service Priority Mail shipping with delivery confirmation/tracking slip.

I will combine postage for multiple purchases. Where First Class Postage is offered, I insist on a padded bag so a delivery tracking slip can be used. The cost of First Class includes the padded pad. Tracking is mandatory for all Pay Pal domestic transactions.

I ship world wide for all countries recognized by Pay Pal. Shipping options will be provided. Smaller items can be shipped easily, safely and affordably in a Global Priority Flat One Rate Envelope or First Class Mail International (the cost of the First Class includes a padded bag). International Bidders must pay in US Dollars. Pay Pal is the accepted method of payment. I save all Postal Service Receipts as well as copies of your payment as proof of delivery and completion of the transaction. It is your responsibility to understand and adhere to these terms.

I have enjoyed interacting with buyers from four continents and dozens of countries. Many have been veterans, active duty GIs, home front family members in our war, authors, artists, teachers, museum curators, etc. You are encouraged to email with questions. I will try my best to answer all those that ar e received by Friday. (I am not always available on weekends when the items close.) If you perceive a discrepancy between the photos and description you should bring this to my attention for clarification before you bid. When bidding, consider what the item is worth and what you can afford.

A winning bid represents a legal and binding contract. All winning bidders are required to provide contact information within three business days of the listing’s conclusion. This means I need your full name and shipping address to validate you as the winning bidder. It is also a basic courtesy that is appreciated.

Finally, recognize that most of these items are 64+ years old and typically will show some manifestation of age, time, removal of insignia (on uniform items), nips, etc that I may not catch. I am not infallible but work hard at offering comprehensive descriptions supported by photographs. I also can not guarantee that caps and uniform components will fit you so bid on them first as an artifact. I believe communication is the key to successful Ebay transactions. Thank You.
