Mickey Mouse as Father Christmas 1997 Ornament - Disney

This is a hand-crafted ornament dated 1997. This was made exclusively for The Disney Store by Midwest of Cannon Falls.

This charming ornament features the classic pie-eyed version of Walt Disney's Mickey Mouse dressed as Father Christmas or Santa Claus. He is holding a Christmas tree in one hand and a 1997 Christmas star in the other. This ornament is stylized to look as if it were hand-carved wood with an antique finish. Imperfections in the surface are part of the molded image. They are supposed to be there, and they add to the charm of the piece. I am not sure exactly what material this is, but it feels pretty heavy. This is probably some sort of composite ceramic. The ornament measures approximately 3 and 1/2" tall by 3 and 1/2" across by 2" deep.

The original price tag ($14.95) is still attached to the ornament. There is also a price sticker on the top of the box. The box is a little beat up around the edges, but the ornament is in mint condition. This ornament has never been displayed. It has been boxed away in storage since it was new.

A note to international bidders -

People have asked why my international shipping rates are so high. The reason is simple. I purchase my postage for eBay auctions online through PayPal. The U.S. post office does not offer the cheaper First-Class International shipping rate online. The least expensive international shipping rate USPS offers online is Priority Mail International. You are paying a bit more, but you are getting a better shipping service.

Do you need it there faster?

PayPal auction payments made through a credit card or from a PayPal account clear instantly. I can ship those items immediately. If you use PayPal to transfer money from a bank account, it will take longer. I cannot ship until your payment clears. That can be several days later (depending on your bank).

Express Mail shipping is sometimes available for an extra fee. Just ask me.
