This auction is for two boxes of On-A-Lite Light Sockets in their original boxes. These are really hard to find. I have only seen one other set and it has been at least 10 yrs or more since I have had those. These are so neat. You just unscrew them and take a flat cord and insert them thru the socket and screw one the top til the points go thru the cord. You can make your own light cords which is great if you only need a few lights for decorating. The sockets are multi colored red and black or brown(I can't quite tell) bakelite. There are 2 complete sets, each set is 7 sockets. These didn't come with cord but originally came with bulbs. Some bulbs are included but I have no way of knowing if these are original. The boxes are charming with great graphics. One box is a little rough but could be taped or reglued. Instructions for use are on the back of the box. I thought it was neat that one box originally came with GE bulbs and the other originally came with Westinghouse bulbs. It says right on the lid. These are really hard to find and neat to have. Original price was 1.99. The holidays are fast approaching and in the coming weeks I will be adding lots of vintage Christmas. I will gladly combine multiple purchases when possible to save on shipping costs. Sometimes certain items cannot be packed with others because of breakage. This is a 3 day auction so don't miss out.
