44 Foot Yacht w/ Dock and Inboard Motor boat model

BE THE CAPTAIN OF YOUR OWN 44 FOOT YACHT!

This “44-Foot Yacht” model would be a great gift for the boat lover who has a case of two-foot-itis (my husband, it seems, suffers from this constantly!).  The model comes packaged in a box that says on the outside, “This box contains a 44 foot yacht complete with dock and inboard motor!  No foolin…check it out!”  Inside you find a wind up plastic boat model, approximately 8 inches long and 4 inches high.  On the underside of the hull there are 44 plastic feet (which make up the 44-foot yacht).  There is a key in the top corner of the box with “ignition key” engraved on it—this is what you use this to wind up the model.  The background insert of the box shows a marina with a dock across the bottom.  Also included with this model is a Certificate of Authenticity, complete with blueprints showing “optional features”.

This model was released by Jobar International/Bibi Products in 1986.  The model is like new, but the outer box does have some wear and creasing in corners and along the edges.
