>1954 Scoops card #87 - Joan of Arc Burned

Card #87 "Joan of Arc Burned" from the tougher to find second series of the 1954 Scoops set, issued by Topps. The set featured famous stories from history. The fronts came with a black scratch off surface in two broad stripes across the card, which sometimes you can see traces of. The backs told the story in the formats of real modern newspaper headings.

The card has nice color & good gloss, off white borders, a water stain top right corner, a 1" crease, faint edge wear, dinged corners, yellowed clear back with a water stain triangle down most of the right edge, 1/2" wide x 1-1/2" down from top.
