Description
Developed by Hothouse Creations for Konami, this turf wars game follows the gangs of Grand Central City, an urban jungle steeped in violence. Detroit rap crew D12 lends its music and likenesses to this brutal game of life on the streets. The game stars Tre, the young leader of the Outlawz, once Grand Central City's most powerful gang. Gamers maneuver Tre through the dangerous streets, using his fists and brains to protect his crew and build his reputation. The player must protect his own people from exploitation and abuse, and defend his crew from the violence and treachery that permeates the society he lives in.

Crime Life: Gang Wars is all about you're going to help Tre become top dog, all the while protecting his turf from Grand Central's most notorious big-city crooks.
Each battle feels like a make or break opportunity you'll make your name, or they'll break your face is basically what we're saying here.
Your main aim is to defend your crew from the violence and treachery that permeates society.
Crime Life: Gang Wars is a beat 'em up at heart, but the game also involves action and strategy intertwined with a gritty, and detailed plot.
Between fights there are cinematic cut scenes to embellish the story with some dramatic turning points to shock and surprise players.
The story line delves deep into modern urban culture, which is why it's great to have respected commentators D12 in on the act.
The crew from Detroit has created original tunes for the game, and its members have lent their voices and likenesses to the game.
In addition to music from D12, includes songs from UK rap artist Doom Man. Also, Brit actor Jason Flemyng, is voiced some of the in-game characters.
If you ever wanted a piece of the action as seen in movies New Jack City, Boyz 'n the Hood and Menace II Society this tough-as-nails Konami game will be your break, kiddo.
