Autographed photo 5x7" - actor GENE RAYMOND. Inscribed "Best Wishes! Gene Rayond." in blue-black ink. Under a hand lens pressure marks and gradation of ink are clearly seen. Linen-like photo (not glossy).

Raymond (1908-1998) was a child actor and appeared on Broadway in his teens. He had good success in film, playing in light musicals for RKO and later in leading roles opposite Jean Harlow, Loretta Young, Bette Davis, Joan Crawford, Carole Lombard, and others. He also directed, produced, composed and was a decorated military pilot. His autograph is not particularly common.

CONDITION: Good. Minor edge wear and crease to upper right corner just inside margin. Back is unmarked and has minor yellowing and fading to the corners.
