Item Description:
This is a beautiful antique English mahogany claw and ball buffet sideboard server. It has a very nice top surface which is in very good condition and it has a unique backsplash with a scalloped shape on its center with a pie crust design. It features two smooth operating drawers that are well built with dovetail joinery and they have attractive handles with oval hardware. One of the drawers is missing its handle but as seen in the pictures it is easily overlooked. There are two cabinets that have a total of four shelves and though one of them is slightly warped it works well as it is. The doors are beautifully decorated with oval pie crust edge designs over paneled surfaces and they have lovely brass tear drop pulls. It has gorgeous cabriole legs with claw and ball feet. This buffet may have minor age appropriate signs of wear but overall it is in very good cosmetic and structural condition and it is strong and sturdy. This is an outstanding piece of furniture that will be cherished at home for many years to come!
