Important Notice for Non US Buyers
Most foreign countries impose a duty, customs charge or value added tax on items shipped from the US. Please check with YOUR postal or customs authorities to determine the amount and reporting requirements. We have a difficult time understanding our own tax system and we have absolutely no desire to figure out the customs of the 50 or so other countries we ship to. We accept no responsibility financially or legally for any customs duty or VAT charged to items upon arrival!
Payment Terms
Philly Photo Supply sells and ships worldwide as long as the item is paid for in full, using an acceptable method of payment, regardless of nationality, class, race, creed, color, or sexual orientation. We are only limited by the import laws or postal regulations of the destination country. The rules below only apply to payments and are not a restriction on the ability to bid and buy. If you are a legitimate buyer, we WANT your business!
All items must be paid for in five days from end of auction unless prior arrangements have been made.
We accept and prefer PayPal - the online payment system but we also accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and other forms of payment that eBay prohibits listing here. Email for details.
Philly photo Supply reserves the right to refuse certain types of payment if we feel it is in our best interests to do so. A buyer is still required to complete a transaction with some other mutually acceptable means of payment should we refuse to accept an invalid payment type.
We cannot emphasize enough that these types of problems can all be avoided by asking questions before bidding.
PayPal Payments
We will refuse or refund any PayPal payments that are not protected by the PayPal Seller Protection program.
Credit Card Payments
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Please contact us to make a payment by credit card. Items paid for by credit card will only be shipped to the billing address of the credit card and a signature is required upon delivery.
Best Offers may void Free Shipping offers.
When offered, Free Shipping is for ground shipping to the 48 contiguous states with our choice of carrier. Shipping insurance in NOT included and should be purchased separately. We will not accept responsibility for lost or damaged orders without insurance.
There maybe a slight surcharge applied to orders shipped to AK, HI, PR, VI, Guam, APO, FPO or areas classified as "remote" by UPS.
Many items shipped overseas by Philly Photo Supply are packed in irregular sized containers
due to their shape and size. These items are not oversized by U S Postal Service standards, but
are considered oversized by some foreign postal carriers and can incur additional handling charges upon final delivery.
These charges are added by the courier and not Philly Photo. The size of these items sometimes prevents us from combining items into one order.
OUR BUSINESS IS NOT TO MAKE A PROFIT FROM SHIPPING!
We also shop on eBay and hate high shipping fees. We would not think of doing this to others. We charge a fair price over the actual shipping cost to cover our supplies, gas to and from the post office, UPS etc.
We will try to give our customers a choice of cheap or fast shipping. We have not found any reliable company that is both fast and cheap!
Either way the choice is totally yours.
Shipping Rates
We use the UPS, US Postal Service and FedEx published rates. The final shipping cost is based on the total weight and in some cases, the size of the parcel. See eBay shipping calculator or write for an exact quote.
We will, when possible, combine items to save shipping.
We are sometimes limited by package size or weight.
For Continental US shipments, we use FedEx, UPS and US Postal Service.
For non-US shipments, we primarily use US Postal Service, but will use UPS Worldwide or FedEx upon request.
Some cheaper services without tracking or insurance, like First Class Mail International are not available to countries that have a high incidence of lost packages like Italy and Spain .
Insurance is required for all non-us orders over $100.00US!
