Speakertech refoam kits use only top quality high density poly-ether foam surrounds in all of our kits.  We sell no surplus or low grade surrounds of any kind. We warranty all of our kits and offer customer support by e-mail to help with any questions. This year marks our 27th year refoaming woofers, and servicing loudspeakers.

Our special adhesive works with paper and all synthetic cones, such as polypropylene, graphite, Kevlar, aluminum, poly-mica, etc. This adhesive is superior to anything else we have ever tested and will ensure a solid bond at all of the critical points.  This adhesive is specially packaged to ensure the proper viscosity. We recommend you use the adhesive within 2 months from the time you receive your kit.

All kits come with the needed foam surrounds, adhesive, and detailed instructions.  

Here are some recommended steps:

1.  Check the quality of your woofer, and consider upgrading with a replacement woofer. This is always good to consider especially if your woofer has a small magnet, is cheaply made, or looks like it might be worn out.

2. Check your woofer to make sure it moves freely without serious scraping, or that it is not seized up tight.

3. Check your woofer with a low volume audio signal to make sure it is working o.k.
