A former member of the anti-folk duo Moldy Peaches, Adam Green had recorded two other solo albums by the time FRIENDS OF MINE was released in 2003, but this third album features fuller arrangements of his highly personal, sing-songy tunes, and showcases more resonant vocals that at times achieve an almost Leonard Cohen-esque depth. Moldy Peaches fans will find a lot here to love, and newcomers will be charmed.
