Polish Pottery has been around for hundreds of years and it is made to last. The Pottery is made of a white clay found in Poland. It is hand thrown, hand painted/hand stamped and fired at 2400 degrees. It has a thick protective glaze which ensures it's longevity. You'll often find cutting boards made in Polish Pottery ~ it is that resistant to scratching/chipping. Polish Pottery is oven safe up to 400F, microwave safe and fine for the fridge and freezer. Always keep your pottery safe from SUDDEN temperature shock.
