ANEMONE QUILT SQUARES #7    9 DESIGNS in 4 SIZES

You will receive 4 sizes of each design: 3.5", 4", 5" and 6" squares. I have had requests from those who have a machine which only has a 3.5" hoop, such as some Kenmore and Singer embroidery machines, so I have added smaller designs to this collection.  Remember that you can vary the colors to match your desired color palette. You will find that varying the colors in a square as well as the background fabric, provides great variety in presentation. These designs remind me of spring, so I have used pastels here. I have also displayed a few examples of how these look in pale pastels below. I can see these in pale pastels adorning lingerie, baby dresses, or a christening gown. The 3 stitched squares below were done in pale colors on white batiste, with the 75 mm designs.
Various techniques used in this set are candlewicking, color-blending, soft satin stitches.  I love tone on tone embroidery because it is so elegant, and these are also beautiful done in tone on tone technique. I am not including separate monochromatic designs with this set--you can jut continue at the colorstops without changing thread and you will have the monochromatic design, with much easier trimming to do if you trim at the colorstops!  With the designs in Anemone 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6, you will have a selection of 63 totally different designs in your preference of size and color palette-a great start to a quilt!

• Table runner, table cloths, placemats, napkins, quilted wall hanging, etc

• Vest or jacket

• Embellishment for guest towels or bath towel sets (be sure to use water soluble stabilizer)

• Embellishment for a favorite t-shirt. I stitch the design on weaver's cloth, tack it to the shirt leaving a small margin loose, which will fray for a nice edge. Another variation is to tack it down using a blanket stitch. Try placing a heat-applied crystal to the small diamond shape in the center.
