You will receive a latch kit, new in unopened bag.

The strike is made out of metal. This strike will replaces plastic strikes.

The Latch is Plastic with a metal Spring clip around it. The Latch measures on top 7/8" x 3/4".

This item is a replacement for Whirlpool # 279570, & it also replaces Maytag #'s LA1003, LA-1003 & 306436 7 Frigidaire # 5366021400
