1 Ounce of Ultraviolet Invisible Ink
and a Special Stamp Pad
You are bidding on 1 fluid ounce of
Ultraviolet ink and a special UNINKED cloth Stamp Pad designed specifically for
this type of ink. The Ink Glows Purple when it is illuminated under a black light.
There MANY uses for this ink and I am sure you can find many more (see
below for my examples). One example would be
for security in/out passes at clubs,
sporting events, public daycare, dances, etc.
This ink is undetectable by the
naked eye but once this ink is applied to an item, all you have to do is shine a
black light on the ink and it will glow.
I also sell Pocket black light
and invisible ink markers. Please check my other auctions for those sets.
Simply pour about 1/4 ounce onto the pad the first
time. You will know when enough has been loaded as you will be able to see
what is absorbed. The pad measures 4 1/2" X 3 1/2". When it is not
in use, please keep the lid closed so it will not dry out. When it runs
low, simply pour a bit more ink in the pad. This is permanent ink so it
will stay on skin for a number of days.
This ink pad requires minimal pressure to ink stamps,
daters etc. This holds more ink and promotes even distribution for
cleaner, crisper impressions. The pad surface is resilient for longer life
and resists lint build up that clogs stamps. The ink is an oil based ink and
requires this special cloth stamp pad.
You get fast shipping! I ship the package out the day after payment is received USPS (same day in some cases).

Here are a couple of examples of uses for this item:
Great if you are
organizing an event that charges admission:
Dump an amount of this on the ink pad and stamp people's hands (like at an
amusement park) and have a black light handy for the person's re-entry.
Great to
stop switching: If
you sell items and if there is a possibility for returns, you can
mark your items with the invisible ink before the item is
sent. If a return is necessary, you will be able to detect if it
was the item that you sent originally by checking your marks that
you made. This is a great way to head off switching.
Taking
an item in for service and want to be sure that your receive the
same thing back: If
you were taking an item in for service and you want to ensure
that you receive the same item back. You could mark it in the
invisible ink and check the item when it is returned to ensure
that you received your original item.
Excellent tool to curb
Theft at Colleges: This is a
proactive approach to curbing crime. Schools are welcoming students to use
this marker to write their drivers license number or social security number on
hand-held computers, bicycles and other often stolen items. The ink
markings enable police to identify the owners of stolen items recovered from
pawn shops or other locations. This is also good to mark your
books.
Great for special effects: One of my friends has Model Trains.
He decided to create special effects with the invisible ink. He put several large black fluorescent lights in his train room. When the normal lights are turned off and the black lights are on, the visual effects are very cool.
Great for marking Tools: Do you work in an environment that you may need to share your tools. Ever have a problem with the person that borrowed the tool claim that it is their tool? Now you can prove it is your tool. You can mark your tools with the invisible ink marker and when that person says that it is their tool, you can pull out the black light and illuminate the area that you marked proving that it is your tool.
Great for School Science experiment: Use this for your next science experiment or project.
Great for practical jokes: I attend a bachelor party for a friend, we all wore "Special" white shirts and went to cosmic bowling. We wrote several comments on the back of his shirt and everything showed up under the black lights at cosmic bowling. It took him a while to figure out why people were making comments to him regarding the wedding.
Great for catching thieves: If you know that you have a thief and know who it is (or not) and would like to catch them red-handed, this would be a great way to mark cash or other items.
Great toy: My child loves things that he does not understand or see. This is something that will definitely fascinate a child.
Good alternative to etching tools: The beauty of the invisible marking is that a person does not know that the item is marked. Markings from an electric engraver permanently scars the item let alone if the item is stolen, the marking can be filed or sanded off. When a product is engraved, it looks terrible, like a two year-old scribbled on it. If the owner marked a camera or stereo and wanted to re-sell it at a later date, the item would be worth less since it would have engraving all over it.
Great for showing your
loyalty to Blue Man Group: I attended the
Blue Man Group show a couple years ago when I was in Vegas at the Luxor. I
noticed they had black lights incorporated into their show. We visited Las
Vegas again in March 2004 and went to the show again. I wrote a message on
my blue man group black shirt using the ultra-violet ink. I wrote Blue Man
Group Rules. It was noticed by one of the blue men when they walked into
the audience. My shirt got me a little more attention than I wanted.
During the show, I got a marshmallow thrown at me along with a Jell-O
mold. It was a fun time anyway. If you are ever in Las Vegas and get
a chance to see Blue Man group, I whole heartedly recommend the show. It
is worth the $90 they charge for the show.
2 AA batteries required (not included)
