Very fine circa 1940 DUNCAN PHYFE mahogany dining set. The table measures 62" long by 42" wide, and 30" tall. There is 1 additional leaf, for a 12" extension. The table features a carved double pedestal leg designed with brass claw paw feet. Original finish is very good. There are however a few imperfections but nothing to detract from this quality piece. This will look fantastic in a formal dining room or could even be used in an office/study.
There are six chairs included with this set. One is an arm chair and the other five are not. These are shown in the photos. In photographing the chairs I noticed 1 small stain on the fabric of 1 chair and a few small imperfections on the wood backs but nothing that detracts from the quality of these pieces.
Beautiful wood in both the table and chairs. Very nice simple detailing across the board. Superior craftsmanship.
