Answering Questions

Avitar’s business hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.,

Eastern Standard time.  We will answer questions during those hours prior to the

end of the auctions.  Questions received over the weekend or on holidays will be

answered Monday morning.

Shipping Notes
Shipping costs are to the US (Lower 48 States). Local pick-up is available

by appointment only. Alaska and Hawaii residents please e-mail for a shipping

quote before bidding.

Shipping & Handling
All items are professionally packed to arrive undamaged. UPS is our standard

domestic carrier.  International bidders please note that we will use USPS Priority

mail for smaller, less expensive items.  However, USPS has both size and weight

restrictions as well as insurance limits that vary from country to country.  Any item
that exceeds the aforementioned parameters will be shipped via DHL or

Federal Express.  We will pass along our substantial DHL or Federal Express

discount and are happy to quote shipping cost to potential bidders prior to

bidding.  Please be aware that USPS takes longer than other carriers. 
We DO NOT ship to Argentina, Brazil, or Indonesia.

International Buyers: Duties and Taxes
Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping
charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your
country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to
bidding/buying. These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight
(shipping) company or when you pick the item up – do not confuse them for additional
shipping charges. We do not mark merchandise values below value or mark items
as "gifts" - US and International government regulations prohibit such behavior.

Returns & Warranty

Repair & Parts Items - are sold "AS IS" and returns are not offered unless the

item you receive was not properly described in the auction.

Items sold with a 7 day right of return. If an item is sold with a 7 day return

privilege, we must be notified within 7 days from the date of delivery.

These items can be returned for any reason within the 7 day right of return period

(in original condition, providing all security seals are intact), for a refund,

excluding shipping & handling. An item may only be returned with an RMA

(return material authorization) number. To obtain an RMA, please contact us

within your 7 days, after the initial delivery date by e-mail through eBay's mail

system. We want all of our customers to be happy with their purchases and

expend our best efforts to ensure our customers are satisfied!
