How to cook using THE LAVA GRILL:
1. Rinse volcanic stones with water previous to first time use and place rocks in water channel base.
2. Fit grill top on base securely, arrange rocks accordingly so grill top does not wobble or slip. Then remove top form water channel base.
3. Place base over stove burner. Fill the base with water to the upper edge (approximately 1-3.4 cups of water). At this time create flavor vapors by adding fruit and/or herbs to water.
4. Pre-heat the water channel base for 2-3 minutes, or until water begins to steam. DO NOT BOIL! Reduce heat to medium and you are ready to grill.
Measurements:
12-7/8" x 12-7/8". The hole in center of base is 4-3/8" in diameter, however the size of this does not effect grilling.
