Vintage 1950 Oriental Asian Lady Headvase Head Vase Ornate Head vase from 1950 Approx. 9 1/2" tall x 7" wide x 4 " thick This headvase does have some condition issues, please read: First it is heavily crazed. It also has a small chip on the bottom front edge, a small chip on the vase opening edge and a major chip/missing part on the left side of her ornamental head ware (hat). It is amazing, as big as the missing part is...from the front, it isn't that noticeable...or especially if the vase is angled. She has a beautiful angelic face. It may be possible to have her restored as the mirror image of her head wear is complete to duplicate the pattern. She is very pretty as is. Heavy Gold Gilding and texturing. Dated 1950 on the bottom as well as embossed markers marks which I can not make out..as the glaze as filled most of the embossed lettering.
