Are the sides on that piece straight, MissLynette? Yes. It's a trick of camera perspective which makes it appear otherwise.
MLN 1029.20 / Fetching Sleek Mahogany Art Deco Curio Cabinet / Display Case / China Cabinet
ATTRIBUTES: Grand, curvy little cabinet with a near-lacquered dark, rich, mahogany finish. Gorgeous lines, from the plump little cabriolet legs below to that serpentine top above. The design on this door is particularly nice: Stylized gilded tulips twine their way up the cabinet glass. Wait, do tulips twine? No matter. I expect if they can twine in the imagination of the designer of this beautiful little piece, that's sufficient for us. But the design ~ it's especially nice because it's not enormous, nor is it so BiG AnD S*HiN#Y that it's all you can see. Just the perfect touch of gold, sturdy glass shelves, and a wonderful neutral toned fabric backing. Lovely. Oh, and it has a key! Yay!
POTENTIAL USES: Because of the subtle door design on this beauty, this is perfect for displaying your favorite collections. If MissLynette were keeping this (instead of trying to sell everything she owns in order to move to Mexico), she'd probably put her favorite pieces of Harlequin and Riviera inside. Imagine it with your collection of deco barware, your treasured dolls, or even your manly collectibles like coffee cans and the like. In the alternative, a nice selection of books, of dishes, whatever, can be safely kept dust-free and on display in this fetching little cabinet.
