This large hard-backed book is Magnificent Macramé by Marie-Jeanine Solvit  and was published by Search Presss in 1979.

The book is approx. 26cm by 25 cm and has 138 pages that include numerous full colour photos illustrations and photos

The book is in good condition and still has the dust jacket – that has rubbing/minor rips/damage to edges/corners

 

·        The book is a feast of approx 50 original & unusual design

·        These include rainbow hammock, a hanging cradle, a lampshade and a Christmas tree!

·        The knots are simple so even a beginner can produce great results and each design is graded to show the degree of difficulty

 

This is one of 3 books for auction at the moment on the art of macramé plus another on string figures, I am always very happy to re-quote a combined p & p if more than one item is purchased
